Terms of service

By accessing or using PromptShot ("the service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

PromptShot is an editorial directory of publicly posted image-to-video prompts and a workbench for reproducing them with third-party AI models (currently OpenAI GPT Image 2 and ByteDance Seedance 2.0). All curated content links back to the original X tweet and credits the original creator.

2. Accounts and credits

Account creation requires a valid email. Free accounts include a daily quota of generations that reset at 00:00 UTC. Paid credit packs (purchased via Stripe) are non-refundable except where required by law and do not expire for 12 months from purchase.

3. User-uploaded content

You retain ownership of any image you upload as a generation reference. You grant PromptShot a temporary license to transmit it to the chosen AI provider for the sole purpose of producing your requested generation. We do not train models on your uploads. Generated outputs are your property, subject to the underlying model provider's terms.

You agree not to upload images that (a) contain CSAM or non-consensual sexual content, (b) target a real person without their permission for harmful or harassing purposes, (c) are protected by third-party copyright you do not have rights to use, or (d) violate the underlying AI model provider's policies.

4. Curated tweet content

PromptShot displays publicly posted X tweets along with attribution to the original author. Authors may opt their content out at any time — see the DMCA / opt-out page.

5. Acceptable use

You may not (a) use the service to harass others, (b) attempt to bypass quota limits, (c) probe, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service in ways that interfere with other users, or (d) use the service to violate any applicable law.

6. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. AI generation outputs are inherently probabilistic; we make no guarantee about quality, fidelity, or fitness for any particular purpose.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of these terms or your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months, or USD 50, whichever is greater.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
