What we collect
- Account data: email address (required for login), OAuth identifier if you sign in via Google or GitHub.
- Generation metadata: the prompt and reference image you submit, the resulting video URL, model used, status, and credit cost.
- Payment data: processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. We retain only Stripe customer/charge IDs and amounts paid.
- Server logs: standard web logs (IP address, user agent, request path) for security and debugging, retained ≤30 days.
- Analytics: aggregate anonymous usage (pages viewed, technique popularity) via PostHog. No fingerprinting.
Third parties we share data with
- Supabase — authentication, database, file storage
- Vercel — hosting, edge CDN
- Cloudflare R2 — object storage for uploaded images and generated videos
- Stripe — payments
- OpenAI — when you use the GPT Image 2 step (your prompt + uploaded image are sent to OpenAI for processing)
- ByteDance / BytePlus (Seedance) — when you run the video generation step (your prompt + image are sent to BytePlus)
- PostHog — anonymous product analytics
- Sentry — error tracking (no user content)
We do not sell your data. We do not share data with advertisers.
Your generated content
We retain your generation history (prompts, reference images, output videos) so you can revisit them on the dashboard. You can delete any generation at any time, which removes it from our database and object storage within 24 hours.
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You have the right to access, export, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@videoez.ai from the address on your account.
Cookies
We use one session cookie for login state and one functional cookie for theme preference. No third-party advertising cookies.
Children
PromptShot is not intended for users under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA / UK).
Changes
We will revise the "last updated" date when this policy changes. Material changes will be announced via email to your account.
