About PromptShot

PromptShot is an editorial index of image-to-video prompt techniques shared by creators on X (Twitter). We track the working patterns — GPT Image 2 + Seedance 2.0, multi-panel grids, character-sheet animation — verify them, and present each one with the exact prompt chain and a working result video.

Built and maintained by a small editorial team. PromptShot is not affiliated with OpenAI, ByteDance, X Corp, or any of the AI providers we use under the hood.

Editorial principles

  • Attribution first. Every case credits the original creator with their @handle and links back to the source tweet. We do not claim ownership of any prompt or video.
  • Verbatim prompts where published. When a creator posts the full prompt text, we transcribe it character-for-character with the bracketed sections intact. When they only publish half (the GPT Image 2 step but not the Seedance step, for example), we say so explicitly and provide a community-canonical pattern in its place — never silently fill gaps.
  • Engagement floor.We don't add cases purely for volume. A case needs either real engagement signal (likes/views) or genuine novelty in technique to make the cut.
  • Author opt-out, no questions asked. If you are the creator of a tweet we have included and want it removed, see the DMCA / opt-out page. We aim to remove within 72 hours of verified request.

  • Sprint 3 — In-browser workbench. Pick a technique, upload your character, run the GPT Image 2 + Seedance 2.0 pipeline end-to-end without leaving the page.
  • Sprint 4 — Paid credit packs for higher-volume users via Stripe.
  • Sprint 5 — Auto-discovery cron sweeps X for new viral techniques and surfaces them in the editor queue.
